Course Overview

Course Duration: 5 Days

In this course, you will prepare for the CCNP Wireless certification, aprofessional-level certification specializing in the wireless field. Throughhands-on labs, you will learn to secure the wireless network from securitythreats via appropriate security policies and best practices. You will alsoexamine the proper implementation and configuration of security standards andsecurity components.

For the classroom version of this course, laptops are provided toparticipate in the hands-on labs. If you'd rather use your own laptop, pleaseensure it has an Ethernet port as well as an internal wireless NIC,802.11a/b/g/n. For laptops running Windows Vista or Windows 7, please include aterminal emulator such as HyperTerminal or ensure that you have administratorrights to the laptop to install software used in class.
