Course Overview

Course Duration: 5 Days

This extended hours training course focuses on training network professionals that are new to VMware technologies on the fundamentais of vSphere plus through coverage of NSX technology in order to accelerate students on the path to the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV) certification.

In addition to examining core vSphere features and functionality, the course will teach you how to use NSX to virtualize your switching and routing environment, make use of gateway services, firewall configurations, and security services to help secure and optimize your VMware NSX environment.

Access to a software-defined data center environment is provided through hands-on labs to reinforce the skills and concepts presented in the course.
